Terms of Use
Last updated: August 30, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the undo website, waitlist, and application.
By using undo, you agree to these Terms.
1. About undo
undo is a task-management application designed to help users create, organize, and manage tasks.
The application may include features such as local task storage, task reminders, notifications, and voice-based task creation.
undo may currently be offered as a pre-release, beta, early-access, or otherwise developing product.
2. Waitlist and Early Access
Joining the undo waitlist does not guarantee access to the application, early access, or a particular launch date.
We may determine when and how access to undo is made available.
By joining the waitlist, you agree that we may contact you regarding your waitlist status, the launch of undo, early-access opportunities, and relevant product updates.
You may unsubscribe from these communications at any time.
3. Local Data Storage
undo may store tasks and application preferences locally on your device rather than on undo's servers.
You are responsible for maintaining access to data stored on your device.
Browser data may be lost if you clear your browser storage, uninstall the application, reset your device, change browsers or devices, or use browser settings that remove locally stored information.
We cannot guarantee the recovery of locally stored task data.
4. Device Permissions
Certain features of undo may request device or browser permissions, including notification and microphone access.
These permissions are optional. However, denying a permission may prevent the corresponding feature from functioning.
You can manage or revoke permissions through your browser, device, or operating-system settings.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse undo, attempt to interfere with its operation or security, attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems associated with undo, or use the service in violation of applicable law.
6. Intellectual Property
The undo application, website, branding, design, software, and related content are owned by us or our licensors unless otherwise stated.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of undo or its intellectual property to you.
7. Availability and Changes
undo is under active development.
Features may be added, modified, suspended, or removed at any time. We may also temporarily or permanently discontinue parts of the service.
We do not guarantee that undo will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.
8. No Warranty
undo is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.
We do not guarantee that the service will meet every requirement, that reminders or notifications will always be delivered, or that locally stored information will never be lost.
You should not rely on undo as the sole method for managing critical, emergency, medical, financial, legal, or other time-sensitive obligations.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses resulting from your use of or inability to use undo, including loss of locally stored task data or missed notifications.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.
10. Third-Party Services
Certain undo functionality may depend on third-party services, including Buttondown for waitlist and email management and device or platform providers for speech recognition.
We are not responsible for the independent operation, availability, or privacy practices of third-party services.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as undo evolves.
If we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date shown above. Continued use of undo after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms where permitted by applicable law.
